As East Newark’s first community park, this five-acre green space will serve as a vital hub for recreation, environmental education, and social engagement.
The park features a 1,000-foot-long riverfront boardwalk along the Passaic River, an urban amphitheater designed for community gatherings, and dedicated spaces for hands-on learning about local ecosystems.
This transformation – from a legacy industrial site into a thriving public space – underscores the collaborative efforts of government, businesses, NGOs, and the community.
